I have just bought this Vax MachAir vacuum and I am very impressed by it’s cleaning ability, the price and not too noisy.

I am very impressed with the Vax MachAir. It is easy to operate, lovely to manoeuvre and sucks up dirt from the carpet without sucking so hard that it lifts the carpet. For me it is better than the more expensive machines and I am not bothered by it being corded rather than battery as I don’t have adequate sockets for charging.
MY OVERALL IMPRESSIONS
Cleaning: Excellent on carpet. Carpet soft and clean to touch
Edge cleaning: Very good. Missed the crease where carpet meets skirting but no problem with crevice tool.
Emptying: Excellent. No mess.
Weight: No problem at only 4.9kg
Noise: Not too loud
Power lead: Adequate. Longer than my prvious vacuum.
Back ache: Not too bad
Instruction booklet: Very comprehensive. Unfortunately, printed in grey on white. Black on white would have been better.
